Poster ‘Lichtpunt’
For (T)huis van de Toekomst I made a project called Lichtpunt with fellow students. The goal of the project was to create a concept that would help people with dementia live at home for longer without needing extra help from a caregiver. To make sure we created something valuable and useful, we researched our target audience and talked to them so we understood their needs and values.
Our final concept featured a smart to-do list that automatically checks off tasks, which can be especially helpful not only for people with dementia but also for others who struggle to maintain an overview. For this project, I worked on the design and wiring of our product and focused on designing a poster that communicates our concept clearly and attractively. With the poster, I clearly visualized the core of the idea, making Lichtpunt's function and added value clear at a glance.
We managed to get a wildcard for our project, which meant we were allowed to present our concept to a group of people who have dementia themselves.
